Prayer Times in Tromsø, Norway

Tromsø is at 69.65° north, 18.96° east, and uses the Europe/Oslo timezone, so every time on this page is local Tromsø time, including any daylight-saving change. By default it follows the Muslim World League method, the convention most used in Norway. Daylight ranges from 0h 29m around 27 November to 23h 03m around 17 May, which is why prayer times here move by 7h 15m for Fajr across the year.

Ramadan 1448 is predicted to begin around 8 February (subject to moon sighting). In Tromsø a fast, from Fajr to Maghrib, is predicted to last between 8h 49m and 12h 27m during the month. Because Tromsø is above 48° latitude, the sun may not sink far enough for true Fajr or Isha in summer; on 117 days this year the times use an approximation, which the page explains.
