Prayer Times in Cairo, Egypt

Cairo is at 30.04° north, 31.24° east, and uses the Africa/Cairo timezone, so every time on this page is local Cairo time, including any daylight-saving change. By default it follows the Egyptian General Authority method, the convention most used in Egypt. Daylight ranges from 10h 12m around 19 December to 14h 05m around 15 June, which is why prayer times here move by 1h 52m for Fajr across the year.

Ramadan 1448 is predicted to begin around 8 February (subject to moon sighting). In Cairo a fast, from Fajr to Maghrib, is predicted to last between 12h 25m and 13h 12m during the month. Unsure which method your mosque uses? Our calculation methods guide compares all twelve.
